When there are disruptions in the normal flow of traffic for roadwork, a temporary traffic control plan (TTCP) is necessary to keep traffic moving, and to protect workers and roadway users. Each TTCP uses equipment called temporary traffic control devices to safely guide traffic through a work zone. This course describes the different types of temporary traffic control devices and how to deploy and maintain them.
